How To Properly Store Your Perfumes
The oils and alcohols in perfume can easily break down, causing the perfume's scent to change or disappear. Larger bottles or perfume, which take longer to use up, are even more susceptible to the effects of poor storage. Here are ways you can preserve your perfumes and make them last longer.
1. Keep perfumes from direct light: Excessive light just like heat can destroy good perfume.
2. Don't expose to heat: Most perfumes loose their scent and quality when expose to heat.
3. Don't shake perfume bottles: Don't shake perfumes bottles, it makes the effectiveness reduce overtime.
4. Store in comfortable shelves: Keep your bottles in very safe shelf where it will be easy to access.
5. Do keep perfumes away from humidity: Most people store perfume in the bathroom, where it is used most often. Unfortunately , excessive humidity can break down perfume.
6. Store in refrigerator: Do you know that extreme heat could make your perfume go bad? the only way to prevent this from happening is to keep them in your refrigerator. The coolness in your refrigerator can help you hold the strength of your perfume for longer than if they just sit in your drawer. But note that the same way heat could ruin your perfume is the same way too much cold can ruin it. If your refrigerator are the very cold once, it is best you put them by the door rather than deep in the fridge.
